PRACTICE CLOSURES OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD

Please note that the practice will be closed for Christmas on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th December 2025.  It will re-open as normal on Monday 29th December 2025.

For the New Year the surgery will be closed on Thursday 1st January 2026.

When the surgery is closed call 111 (Freephone) for NHS 111, and for Out of Hours, Urgent Dental Care for medical advice.

For Medical Emergencies ring 999.

What is an FCP

These are highly trained Physiotherapist in Barnsley working in GP Practices . They have extensive experience in assessment and advice of musculoskeletal conditions. They see a wide range of problems such as joint, muscle or spinal pains.

What should you expect from your FCP?

Assessment and diagnosis of your problem and to be given expert advice on how best to manage your condition

Onwards referrals if required. This can include a referral to physiotherapy for continuing treatment, arrange diagnostic investigations if required.

 

How to book an appointment…

You can see us without the need for a GP appointment. Book directly by calling your own GP practice and ask to see the FCP

If you have symptoms in more than one area, please request two appointments.

Please note, FCP clinics are held at many practices across the Barnsley area, so please be prepared to travel for your appointments.
